Create a keepsake heirloom and remember when with Paper Dolls
Christmas. Although they began to appear prior to the Victorian age,
the popularity of paper dolls reached their height in the period from
1920 to 1940. Subjects ranged from ball gowns to dolls dressed as
colonial heroines. There were even cowboys and Indians for the boys
that were tempted to play with the popular cut outs.
Some of the
hardest to find motifs were of Christmas paper dolls. In this
interpretation of these hard to find relics, quilters will once
again delight in the simple fun of dressing up your cut out doll.
